    Dear @Karlo Del Rio,

    Thank you for your update!

Since you’ve already enabled Separated view and turned off the filters under Show at top of list, but your meeting chats still aren’t appearing in the Chat list. That usually happens for one of these reasons:

    • If the meeting was scheduled in a channel, its chat stays inside that channel’s conversation thread (under Teams), not in the Chat list, even when filters are off. This is by design for channel meetings.
    • Only personal meetings (scheduled from Calendar or Meet Now) appear in Chat. Channel-based meetings never move out of the channel.

While waiting for investigate, to see the personal meetings chat appear in Chat, here are some workarounds I recommend you try:

Step 1: Click on "New Items" > Choose " New section" > Create the name: Meeting Chats

Step 2: Go into the meeting chat > click on (...) > Choose "+ Move to" > Choose "Meeting Chats"

Moreover, for channel-based meetings, the chat is tied to the channel conversation thread and will not appear in the Chat list, even if you disable filters. This is intentional design in Microsoft Teams to keep channel-related discussions centralized within the channel.

However, I agree this would be a valuable feature for teams that improve productivity and efficiency. Therefore, I highly recommend submitting your feedback directly to Microsoft Ideas · Community, where our product development team can know your requirements and ideas for product improvements. If enough users raise ticket for the same idea, Microsoft may consider adding this feature in the future.

Note: As Microsoft Community moderators, please note that we are not involved in product design decisions and do not have direct access to the development roadmap, we want to assure you that your feedback has been acknowledged and is valued.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this.

If all this is correct, them Teams is no longer working as designed. The Chats and Meetings Chats are separate. It's a nuisance. I'm open to any suggestions that may work to put them back together, and if nothings works, I hope there will be an update soon to fix this issue.

    Dear @Karlo Del Rio,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your question, I understand your query about organizing Teams & Chat and Chat & Meeting chats in Microsoft Teams. According to my research, here are some ways I recommend you try:

1/ Keep Teams and Chat Separate (Classic Experience)

If you prefer a clear split between Teams (for channels) and Chat (for 1:1 and group chats):

    • Open Microsoft Teams (desktop or web).
    • Click on (...) near the profile picture > Settings > Chats and channels.
    • Under Viewing chats, teams, and channels, select Separated.
      • This keeps Teams and Chat as separate apps in the left navigation bar.
      • Channel conversations remain under Teams, while personal and group chats stay under Chat.

2/ Combine All Chats (Including Meeting Chats) in One List

Once you choose the Separate View in your Teams, the meeting chats and regular chats are combined together. Moreover, there is also filters option for all the chats in the Chat, including the chats and the meeting chats.

    Steps:

    • Open Microsoft Teams (desktop or web).
    • Click on (...) near the profile picture > Settings > Chats and channels.
    • Scroll to Chats and Channels list.

    Untitled

    • Turn off the filters for Chats and Meeting chats: This merges all chat types into a single list for easier navigation.
    • Turn on the filters: You can use filter chips at the top of the Chat pane to quickly switch views if needed.
