Outlook for Mac, Getting error "Can't Create New Message" to reply, forward or reply all email messages

I'm having the same problem that others have mentioned. I can create a new message, but unable to reply, reply all or forward ANY message, without receiving the same "Can't Create New Message" and a greyed out "Send" button. I have a screen shot but no obvious way to forward that. Multiple drafts of the message that can't be sent are saved to my system. My outlook version is 16.101.2 (25092825). I have tried updating and reinstalling outlook but the issue persists.User's image

    Hi @Tanvir Singh

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand that you're unable to reply to or forward messages in Outlook, even after reinstalling the app. I know how critical this functionality is, and I'll do my best to help you.

First, to help us isolate the problem, could you please check if you are able to use Outlook on the web without any issues? Please log in to https://outlook.office.com with your account. From there, try to reply, reply-all, and forward messages.

This is an important step to determine if the issue is with your local Outlook application or the service itself.

If you are able to reply and forward emails on the web version, this points to an issue with your desktop client. Based on your tag indicating you are a business user, I can see there is an incident currently affecting some Outlook users with similar symptoms, which Microsoft is working to resolve. You or your IT administrator can view the status of this in your Microsoft 365 admin portal by navigating to Health > Service health.

In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try on your Mac:

    1. Sign Out and Sign Back In: First, try signing out of your Outlook account and then signing back in to refresh your credentials and connection.
    2. Clear the Cache: A corrupted cache can cause unexpected behavior. Please follow the official guide here:
    3. Create a New Outlook Profile: Your current Outlook profile may be damaged. Creating a new one can often resolve persistent issues without affecting your old data. Here are the steps:

However, I will continue to monitor the Service Health dashboard to see when the system issue is resolved. I am hopeful that once the incident is fixed by Microsoft, your Outlook application will be able to function normally again.

Please let me know the results of the web test.
