Developer tools is not showing up on edge.

Developer Tools is not showing up upon clicking F12 or upon doing inspect. I can see my cursor change to circle but the panel for developer tools is not showing.
I tried to uninstall/install but still the same.

What I did before this issue was to dock the developer tools on the right side of the browser it was not docked and never showed again.

My computer is:
Apple M4
macOs 15.5 (24F74)

    Thanks for reaching out. Based on your description, it seems the DevTools window might be opening off-screen or the docking configuration got corrupted. This can happen when the DevTools position data is stored in a hidden state after changing display configurations or docking sides.

    Please try the following steps to reset it:

    1. Reset DevTools settings

    1. Open Edge.
    2. In the address bar, type:
    edge://flags/#devtools-experiments
    

    and press Enter. 3. Click Reset all (top right). 4. Restart Microsoft Edge and try pressing F12 again.

    If that doesn’t help, try resetting from the profile data manually.

    2. Try from a new Edge profile

    1. Go to Settings > Profiles > Add profile.
    2. Create a new one and check if DevTools appears there.
      • If it does, the issue is isolated to the original profile configuration.

    3. Check for system-level blocks

    If none of the above works:

    • Ensure Screen Time or MDM policies aren’t blocking developer tools (some corporate or parental control configurations can restrict them).
    • Also, confirm you’re on the latest stable Edge version by going to edge://settings/help.

    If the issue still persists after those steps, please send feedback directly to the Edge team so they can investigate more deeply - this forum cannot perform product-level debugging.

    1. Open Microsoft Edge.
    2. Click the three-dots menu (… ) in the top-right corner.
    3. Choose Help and feedback → Send feedback.
