A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
Hi @Jan Sanderson,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
Thank you for reaching out. I understand you'd like to print only a specific section of your Word document.
Here’s how you can do it:
Option 1 - Print selected text
If you want to print only a portion of the document that you’ve selected:
- Open your Word document.
- Highlight the section of text you want to print.
- Go to File > Print.
- Under Settings, click the drop-down menu that usually says "Print All Pages".
- Select "Print Selection".
- Click Print.
This method works best when you want to print a paragraph, a few pages, or any non-continuous section you can manually select.
Option 2 - Print specific pages
If the section you want to print spans specific pages:
- Go to File > Print.
- Under Settings, click the drop-down next to "Print All Pages".
- Choose "Custom Print".
- In the Pages box, enter the page numbers you want to print (e.g., 2-4 to print pages 2 through 4).
- Click Print.
You can also enter non-consecutive pages like 2, 4, 6 if needed.
Option 3 - Copy to a new document
If the section is complex or includes specific formatting:
- Select and copy the section you want to print.
- Open a new Word document.
- Paste the content.
- Save the new document.
- Print it as usual.
I hope this helps you successfully print the specific section of your Word document. I'm glad to assist and truly hope the instructions provided have been clear and useful. Please feel free to reach out anytime if you need further assistance or have additional questions.
