MacOS Outlook Calendar / MyDay no longer showing past events after update to new Outlook

Customer have several MacOS users , each with their own MacOS device, on one of them Outlook recently updated to a newer version and after this the MyDay Calendar Widget no longer shows the entire Agenda for "today" but only upcoming events, no longer events that have transpired. Another issue is that the MyDay widget no longer has a standalone browser button that you can hide or show it with in the browser. On the other devices that havent updated yet we can still see the functionality work correctly.

We can see the Myday button in the top menu bar on the problematic device as usual and access settings and pick which calendars to show but the widget does not show the events that have already transpired, UNLESS you click on a previous day in the calender.

    Hi Harald

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, I have also reviewed the latest update in my environment, and here are the steps you can follow to view past events by turning off the “Automatically hide past events” option.

    • Navigate to View > Task Pane (or select the “Show Task Pane” button in the upper-left corner).

    User's image

    • Open the three dots(...) menu > Settings.

    User's image

    • Uncheck “Automatically hide past events in menu bar.”

After completing these steps, past events should appear in the Task Pane view.

I hope this information is helpful. If you encounter any issues during these steps, please share a screenshot of your Outlook interface for further assistance (ensure any personal or sensitive information is hidden).
