Reinstate My Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) Status

I am writing regarding my Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) status, which I have maintained for three consecutive years — from 2021 to 2024. My last MCT renewal expired on 22 August 2024.

When I attempted to renew at that time, the MCT enrollment tool was under a scheduled system upgrade. Following this, I communicated with the Microsoft community and received official responses confirming that my MCT renewal would be automatically extended:

Initially, it was extended to January 2025,

Then later confirmed to be valid through July 2025, and

Finally, extended to December 2025.

I was also informed that my MCT standing would remain visible under the Microsoft Certification Official Transcript in the “Microsoft Certified Trainer History” section and that I would receive a reminder 60 days before expiration.

However, as of November 2025, I found that my MCT status has disappeared from my transcript and that I no longer have access to the MCT portal. When I contacted ---PII removed---, I was advised to reapply as a new MCT.

Given the clear communication history I have with the Microsoft community (which I can attach for your review, along with all my MCT ID cards from 2021–2024), I believe this issue is the result of a system or record synchronization error during the portal upgrade period — not due to any lapse on my part.

What should I do now?my email id: ---PII removed---

You are correct that MCT status has been removed from the Learn transcript. It has been removed for everyone.

You need to check the MCT Lounge for changes to the MCT program
