Here are the most effective steps to troubleshoot and restore it:
1.Check if the Teams Add-in is Disabled
- Open Outlook.
- Go to File > Options > Add-ins.
- At the bottom, next to Manage, select COM Add-ins and click Go.
- Look for Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office.
- If it's unchecked, check it and click OK.
If it’s missing entirely, proceed to the next steps to re-install the Teams meeting Add-in
- Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
- Search for Teams Meeting Add-in and uninstall it.
- Close Outlook and Teams completely (use Task Manager if needed).
- Restart Microsoft Teams
In case the issue still persists after trying all above methods, you can use the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant or the Teams Add-in Missing in Outlook diagnostic from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center if you're an admin.
