If your HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3 Notebook PC's touchscreen has stopped working after updating to Windows 11, it could be due to compatibility issues or driver problems that sometimes occur after an OS update. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check for Windows Updates: Ensure that your system is fully updated. Sometimes, subsequent updates can resolve hardware compatibility issues.
    2. Update Drivers: Go to the Device Manager and check if the touchscreen driver is functioning correctly. You can try updating the driver or uninstalling it and then restarting your device to allow Windows to reinstall it automatically.
    3. Run Hardware Troubleshooter: Use the built-in Windows troubleshooter to detect and fix problems with the touchscreen.
    4. Check Touchscreen Settings: Make sure that the touchscreen is enabled in the settings. You can find this under the Pen and Touch settings in the Control Panel.
    5. Reboot into Safe Mode: Boot your device in Safe Mode to see if the touchscreen works there. If it does, a third-party application or driver might be causing the issue.
    6. Restore Previous Version: If the issue persists, consider rolling back to the previous version of Windows if possible, until a more stable update is available.

If none of these solutions work, you may need to contact HP support for further assistance or check their website for any specific drivers or updates related to your model.

Hi, my name is Jan. I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue with the touchscreen. This can indicate a problem with the driver. Please try each of the suggestions.

    • Check if the touchscreen driver is installed then try to Rollback the touchscreen driver

Press the Windows key + X

    Select Device Manager

    Expand Human Interface Devices

Then open the touch screen driver properties.

Then Roll back the driver and restart the computer.

    • If the touchscreen driver is missing or have errors in Device Manager Go to the manufacturer support website search the exact model or serial number of the Notebook/Laptop then download the latest Wacom AES Digitizer driver under Driver-Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices category. Install the driver and restart the computer.
