How to copy all the recipients of an email all at once ?

The question has been asked here in 2024, but no satisfying answer has been published. How to simply copy all the recipients of an email all at once ? Obviously, I ask because the classic method of selecting, copying and pasting doesn't work. The recipient list of a sent e-mail is not selectable.

I use Outlook on Firefox 144.0.2 with a license Microsoft 365 Business Basic.

My current method to copy and past from the recipient list of a sent message is to click reply all to create a new mail and make the list editable, therefore selectable to copy it. But I have to delete the draft afterward. This process is too long for for such a complete and advanced tool as outlook.

Thank you.

    Dear @Soan,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, it sounds like you want an easy way to copy all recipients from a sent email in Outlook on the web without using the current workaround of clicking ‘Reply All’ and then copying from the draft.

Here are some workarounds you can try:

View message details (raw headers) > copy

    1. Open the sent email in Outlook on the web.
    2. In the pop‑up, you’ll see To: and Cc: headers as plain text.
    3. Ctrl+A > Ctrl+C to copy all recipients in once time; paste anywhere.
      • This gives all addresses in one block (often semicolon‑ or comma‑separated).
      • Remove “To:”/“Cc:” labels if you want just addresses.

    Print Preview Copy

    • Open the Message tab in the menu tray bar > choose Print.
    • In the preview pane, select and copy the recipient block.
    • Cancel printing afterward.

Switch Browser or Use Desktop Outlook

    • In Firefox, recipient “chips” are hard to select. Try Edge or Chrome for easier selection.
    • If available, open the same email in new Outlook desktop:
      • Recipients are selectable; Ctrl+C works directly.

I can empathize with the inconvenience you're experiencing. As Outlook continues to evolve, new features and settings may be introduced in future updates. We encourage you to submit feedback through the Microsoft Ideas Community at Ideas · Community so that the product team can review user preferences.

I hope information above helpful, if you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out.

@Hornblower409 I use it on browser, but the Q&As being public I was hoping either to highlight a gereral problem or being answered that it was now fixed on the desktop app (additionally to a proper response to the problem on web app).
