    Hi @Richard,

Based on your descriptions, as I checked, kindly check the Deleted Items folder for your deleted email. If the email was permanently deleted, you can look in the Recoverable Items folder.

For more details, you can check on this Microsoft article here.

If the email still isn’t there, please contact your admin. They can use Microsoft Purview Content Search to locate the message, export it, and import it back to the mailbox.

It’s also worth checking whether there are any inbox rules that might be deleting emails automatically. You can do this in Outlook by going to File > Manage Rules & Alerts.

I hope this help. If you have any updates or concern, feel free to let me know. I would love to assist you further.

To recover accidentally deleted emails from Outlook, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check the Deleted Items Folder: Start by checking the Deleted Items folder in Outlook. If the emails were recently deleted, they might still be there. You can simply drag them back to your inbox if you find them.
    2. Recover Deleted Items: If you have emptied the Deleted Items folder or if the emails are not there, you can use the Recover Deleted Items feature:
      • In Outlook, go to the Folder tab.
      • Click on Recover Deleted Items. This will show you items that have been purged from the Deleted Items folder but can still be recovered.
      • Select the emails you want to recover and click Recover Selected Items.
    3. Use Outlook Web App: If you're using Outlook on the web, you can also recover deleted items by:
      • Going to the Deleted Items folder.
      • Clicking on Recover Deleted Items from Server at the top of the folder.
      • Selecting the emails you want to recover and clicking Recover.
    4. Contact Administrator: If the emails are not recoverable by you, and if you are using a corporate or organizational account, contact your IT administrator. They may have additional recovery options available.

Make sure to act quickly, as there is a retention period for deleted items, and once that expires, recovery may not be possible.
