Hi there!

I need to create a template for a monthly newsletter in Outlook. I have a Mac computer. Is there a way to do this, so that I can have a turnkey template, updating areas with text and photos? I'm having trouble getting started and cannot find an appropriate tutorial for my Outlook on my MacBook.

Thank you!

    Hi @Sig

Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I’m happy to share the steps to set up an email template in Outlook for Mac:

Step 1: Select New Email to open a draft window. Customize the content as you’d like for your template.

Step 2: When you finish, go to File > Save as Template. undefined

Step 3: Choose the folder where you want to store the template. It will save with the extension .emltpl. You can rename the file if needed.

Step 4: To use the template later, go to File >Mail From Template. User's image

To set up a newsletter template in Outlook for Mac, you can follow these general steps:

    1. Create a New Email: Open Outlook and create a new email message.
    2. Design Your Template: Format the email with your desired layout, including text areas, images, and any other elements you want in your newsletter.
    3. Save as Template: Once you have designed the email, go to the menu and select File, then choose Save As. In the save dialog, select the format as Outlook Template (*.otm) and give your template a name.
    4. Using the Template: To use your template in the future, go to File, select New, and then choose Choose Form. In the dialog, select User Templates in File System and choose your saved template.

This method allows you to create a reusable template that you can update with new content each month. Unfortunately, there isn't a specific tutorial available in the provided context for Outlook on Mac, but these steps should help you get started.
