    Hi ,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

Besides the Q&A Assist's instruction, try connecting the keyboard to another USB port or to another computer if available to confirm the backlight works properly.

After checking all the other functions on the G213 were working perfectly, and dynamic lighting for the monitor was off (if that were a thing), simply disconnected and plugged the keyboard into the same USB 3.0 slot and the lights functionality returned. Do not use any keyboard driver or Logitech S/W such as G HUB btw.

Edit: Next boot/hibernate lights were off again, so might be related to uninstalling Armory Crate where there is a left over driver rogkb.sys which according to Driver Explorer is not attached to any device. Oh well. Installed an alternative to Logitech's GHub, OpenRGB which saves the setting as a profile, and lights are working as expected.

It appears that the issue with your keyboard lights not working after a Windows update may not be directly addressed in the provided context. However, here are some general troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve keyboard lighting issues:

    1. Check Keyboard Settings: Go to Settings > Devices > Typing and see if there are any options related to keyboard backlighting.
    2. Update Drivers: Ensure that your keyboard drivers are up to date. You can do this by going to Device Manager, finding your keyboard, right-clicking, and selecting "Update driver."
    3. Keyboard Software: If your keyboard has specific software (like Logitech G Hub, Razer Synapse, etc.), check if the software is functioning correctly and if the lighting settings are configured properly.
    4. Restart Your Computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve hardware issues.
    5. Check for Additional Updates: Make sure there are no pending Windows updates that might address this issue.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consult the manufacturer's support for your keyboard or check online forums for similar issues related to your specific keyboard model.
