    Dear @S Hayden,

Good day. Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!

Microsoft Teams currently does not have a built-in feature to zoom in or out on your camera feed during a call. The video framing you see is controlled by the app and your camera hardware. But you can contact the software from the manufacturer you are using, they might help you enable zoom.

Your proposal to incorporate a built-in feature that enables zooming in or out on the camera feed during a call is highly commendable, and I strongly believe this functionality would be a valuable addition to Microsoft Teams, and I also feel that this feature is needed in Teams.

In this case, I sincerely recommend you go to Feedback community to vote this similar feedback: (find out similar feedback, if not provide the feedback forum link Ideas · Community. Hello,

No, the Microsoft Teams app does not natively provide camera zoom (in/out) controls for your video feed.

To zoom in your camera during a Teams call, you typically need to adjust the zoom settings of your external camera. Here are some steps you can follow:

    1. Check Camera Software: Many external cameras come with their own software that allows you to adjust settings such as zoom. Open this software and look for zoom controls.
    2. Use Camera Controls in Teams: If your camera supports it, you might find options to adjust the zoom directly within the Teams application. Go to the device settings in Teams and see if there are any camera controls available.
    3. Physical Zoom Control: Some cameras have physical zoom controls (like a ring or button) that you can use to zoom in or out.
    4. Check for Compatibility: Ensure that your camera is compatible with Teams and supports zoom functionality. If it does not, you may need to consider upgrading to a camera that offers this feature.

If your camera supports digital zoom and you want a tighter shot, you can also try adjusting the camera's position to get closer to your face, which can create a tighter frame without needing to zoom in digitally.
