Why doesn't keyboard shortcut work for Snipping Tool? Windows 11 Taskbar unhide feature works intermittantly

Although I have set the Snipping Tool Properties Shortcut key to CTRL + Alt + S when the keys are pressed, the Snipping Tool does not start! It used to. I have had too many problems with Windows 11, even though it has been out for a few years, it is buggy! Windows 10 was better.

    It is NEVER Ctrl+Alt+S, it is always Win+Shift+S.

    Not sure how you got it to work with the wrong key combo, but you probably had third party tools to remap the keys. They were never native to Windows to begin with.

    If you still prefer using Ctrl+Alt+S, download PowerToys from the Store app, and use the Keyboard Manager feature in PowerToys to remap it back to Ctrl+Alt+S as you wish.

    Try SHIFT+WIN+S to open Snipping Tool.

    Or enable this in Settings, Accessibility,

    Hello,

    You must have remapped the shortcut keys at some point as Ctrl + Alt + S was never applicable to Snipping Tool. Perhaps some 3rd party program.

    If you set those keystrokes manually, then

    it is not a Microsoft issue.

    I can find nothing online that says that

    CTRL+ALT+S opens Snipping Tool.
