Taskbar icons too small- how to enlarge

I understand you're looking to make your taskbar icons bigger in Windows 11. Here’s how you can do that:

1. Scaling Adjustment

Right-click desktop > Display settings > Scale > Try increasing the scale to 125% or 150% your taskbar icons should then be larger and easier to see.

Note: Windows 11 doesn’t provide a direct option to resize taskbar icons alone. Scaling affects the size of all display elements including text, icons and interface components across the system.

2. Taskbar Settings (additional)

Press Windows + I to open Settings.

Navigate to Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors.

Set Show smaller taskbar buttons to Never (or When taskbar is full, depending on preference).

To enlarge the taskbar icons in Windows, you can follow these steps:

1. Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
2. Under the Scale and layout section, you can adjust the scaling percentage. Increasing the scaling will make all items, including taskbar icons, larger.
3. Alternatively, you can also adjust the icon size directly from the taskbar:
   • Right-click on an empty space on the taskbar.
   • Select Taskbar settings.
   • Look for the option that says Use small taskbar buttons and toggle it off to use larger icons.

These adjustments should help you enlarge the taskbar icons to your preference.
