Using Outlook for iOS for personal email and calendar management

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Community. I understand you are having a problem with missing Notes linked to your Hotmail account after removing and re-adding the account on your iPhone. I am happy to assist you. Please try the following steps:
- Re-add Account with Notes Enabled
- Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account.
- Select Outlook.com (or Exchange).
- Sign in and ensure Notes toggle is ON.
- Verify Notes Sync in iOS Settings
- Go to Settings > Notes > Accounts.
- Select your Outlook/Hotmail account and confirm Notes is toggled ON.
- Check Notes Folder in Outlook Web
- Sign in at Outlook.com.
- Navigate to Folders > Notes.
- If notes appear, copy or export them.

- Recover Deleted Notes
- In Outlook Web or Desktop, check Deleted Items and Recover Deleted Items.
- Restore any notes found there.
- Escalate for Mailbox Restore
- If Notes folder shows item count but content is blank, contact Microsoft Support and request Outlook.com Data Restoration.
- Check iPhone Backups
- If notes were local and unsynced, restore from an iCloud or iTunes backup taken before account removal.
