Thank you for contacting us. To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:
Clear Outlook:
- Completely close the Outlook application.
- Press the Windows + R key combination.
- Enter the following path:
- olk.exe –devtools
- In the DevTools interface, select Application.
- Under Local Storage and Cookies, delete the data for outlook.office.com.
Next, open your browser and press Ctrl + Shift + Delete, then click Clear Now.
After completing the steps above, please reconfigure the setting to disable read receipts and check if the issue still persists.
If the above steps are still not effective, please contact your organization’s administrator (possibly the IT department) to check if there is any policy preventing the disabling of read receipts.
