I was recently cleaning up my PC storage until i found out that my C:/XboxGames folder was taking about 63GB of space from my SSD. I did all the steps that i saw others from the support team recommending to other people who had the same problem: deleting temp files, cleaning the cache, yadayada. I don't know how to fix this problem since i do have games installed via the Xbox App, i did all the reseach i could and i don't know what to do, please help me.

Hi Ian,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum. I know how frustrating it can be to clean up your PC, only to discover a huge folder eating up precious SSD space.

To make this as smooth as possible, here’s the best fix order that you can follow:

1 - Use TreeSize to scan and identify what’s taking the 63 GB

2 - Give yourself Full Control permission then delete leftover folders in WindowsApps or XboxGames

3 - Reset Gaming Services

4 - Run Store cache reset

I look forward to receiving your update. Let me know if you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thanks for your effort.
