To see only the bold text, the following steps will mark all non-bold text as Hidden.

    1. Open the Replace dialog (Ctrl + H).
    2. Click the More button at the bottom of the dialog to expand it.
    3. Click in the Find What box.
    4. Click the Format button at the bottom of the dialog and click Font in the menu.
    5. In the Font dialog, click Not Bold in the Font Style list. Click OK. The words "Font: Not Bold" will appear below the Find What box.
    6. Click in the Replace With box.
    7. Again, click the Format button and choose Font.
    8. In the Font dialog, click the check box next to Hidden so it contains a check mark. Leave all the other check boxes untouched, with a dash in each one. Click OK. The word "Hidden" will appear below the Replace With box.
    9. Click the Replace All button, and then close the Replace dialog.

The Hidden text will be displayed with a dotted underline if the display of nonprinting characters is turned on (Ctrl+*); otherwise it will be invisible. You can restore the text to its original appearance by the Undo (Ctrl+Z) command if you haven't done any editing in the meantime.

To see only the text that is in bold in a Word document, you can use the Find feature to locate bold text. However, Word does not have a direct function to filter and display only bold text. Instead, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open the Find dialog: Press Ctrl + F to open the Navigation pane.
    2. Search for bold text: Click on the magnifying glass icon or the drop-down arrow next to the search box, and select "Advanced Find".
    3. Set the formatting: In the Find dialog, click on "More >>" to expand the options. Then click on "Format" at the bottom and select "Font...". In the Font dialog, check the Bold option and click OK.
    4. Execute the search: Now, enter any text (or leave it blank to find all bold text) and click Find Next. This will highlight the bold text in your document.

While this method allows you to find bold text, it does not hide the non-bold text. You can manually scroll through the document to see only the highlighted bold text.

Alternatively, you could temporarily change the font color of non-bold text to white (or the background color) to effectively hide it, but this is a more manual approach.
