    Hi Trond-Erik Myrengen

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Forum!

I'm sorry to hear that you're running into this. The “Enigma Protection” error appears because the game uses Enigma Protector, a DRM system that often misidentifies issues when running x86/x64 applications through emulation on your Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge with a Snapdragon X Elite ARM processor. On Windows on ARM devices, this can trigger an “internal protection error” due to emulation incompatibilities.

You can give this a try:

    • Right‑click the game’s .exe file,
    • open Properties → Compatibility,
    • select Change emulation settings
    • enable Safe emulation.

If the installer or any related executables exist, apply the same setting to them as well. Then try launching the game again.
    Additionally,

    • Temporarily disable your antivirus or add the game folder to its exclusions, as security scans can interfere with Enigma’s checks.
    • Run the game as an administrator.
    • Make sure Windows is fully updated, recent patches improve ARM emulation reliability.

If it persists, kindly reach out to the game developer (not Enigma) with your device model and the error details. You can also check whether an ARM‑native build exists. Avoid unofficial cracks, as they can compromise your new device’s security.

Hope this helps. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with!

Thank you for your reply. I have tried to change the emulation setting to safe, on them all. I have also tried the exclusuon from security aswell. When i change the emulation setting to safe, the enigma error dont appear, but nothing appear, nothing happends. If i open task management, i can find and see the game.exe running, but i cant see it, start it, as the game window usually appear when i run the exe.

if i dont make it safe, but only deactivate the «hybrid runmode(only x86-apps), the game window appear, somethimes, but it always gets deactivated in a few seconds.
