    Hi @Daksh Gupta

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. Error code 30204-44 appearing during Visio Professional 2021 setup indicates an installation conflict, typically between existing Office installations and the new Visio product you're attempting to install. This is a common issue when deploying Office products on the same device.   To start, I recommend repairing your current Office installation. You can do this by going to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Microsoft 365 > Modify, then selecting Online Repair. Allow the repair to complete fully (it may take 15 to 30 minutes), then restart your computer and try installing Visio again. The Online Repair option downloads fresh installation files and verifies all Office components, which often resolves corruption or compatibility issues.

If that doesn’t work, the next step is a complete uninstall and reinstall. Use Microsoft’s official uninstall troubleshooter to remove all Office components, restart your computer when prompted (this step is critical), and then install Visio Professional 2021 first. Once Visio is successfully installed, you can reinstall the Office suite.

Please don’t skip any restart prompts, as Windows needs to clean up registry entries and temporary files between uninstall and reinstall.

If the issue still persists, you can use the Office Deployment Tool to install Visio Professional 2021. This method gives you more control over the installation process and can bypass conflicts that occur with standard installers. Here are two helpful resources:

Please note that you’ll need local administrator rights and a valid license key (MAK or KMS) to proceed with this method. The ODT approach is significantly more reliable than the standard installer for resolving error 30204-44, especially for volume-licensed versions.

If you have any updates or further questions, feel free to leave a comment under this post. I look forward to hearing from you!

Thank you again for reaching out and for your patience!

To troubleshoot the error you are encountering while installing Visio Professional 2021 from Microsoft Azure, you can consider the following steps:

    1. Check System Requirements: Ensure that your computer meets the system requirements for Visio Professional 2021. If the operating system is not supported, you may receive installation errors.
    2. Run as Administrator: Right-click on the Setup file and select "Run as administrator" to ensure that you have the necessary permissions to install the application.
    3. Disable Security Software: Sometimes, security software can block the installation process. Temporarily disable any antivirus or firewall software and try running the Setup again.
    4. Check for Corrupted Files: If the Setup file is corrupted, it may cause installation errors. Try re-downloading the installation file from Microsoft Azure.
    5. Use the Office Deployment Tool: If you are using the Office Deployment Tool, ensure that the configuration settings are correct and that you have the necessary permissions.

If you continue to experience issues, you may want to refer to Microsoft support for further assistance.
