You can do this by going to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Microsoft 365 > Modify, then selecting Online Repair. Allow the repair to complete fully (it may take 15 to 30 minutes), then restart your computer and try installing Visio again. The Online Repair option downloads fresh installation files and verifies all Office components, which often resolves corruption or compatibility issues.
If that doesn’t work, the next step is a complete uninstall and reinstall. Use Microsoft’s official uninstall troubleshooter to remove all Office components, restart your computer when prompted (this step is critical), and then install Visio Professional 2021 first.
