    Hi @Office Manager

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for reaching out and we truly appreciate the incredible work your organization does for the community, and we’re happy to guide you through the process of getting Microsoft 365 at nonprofit pricing.

    Please try the following steps:

    1/ Confirm eligibility US

Microsoft requires nonprofit organizations (like churches with bona fide nonprofit status and tax-exempt identification) to be eligible for the Nonprofit program in the US (IRS 501(c)(3) equivalence).

To learn more, please visit: Nonprofit offers

    2/ Register your organization

Please visit the Microsoft Nonprofit Portal and click Apply or Get Started. You’ll be asked to provide:

    • Legal organization name
    • Address and website
    • Contact details

3/ Creation or conversion of Microsoft 365 Tenant

    After validation:

    • If new: A nonprofit-specific Microsoft 365 tenant is created.
    • If existing: You can convert your current tenant to nonprofit status. This is done through the Nonprofit Hub, Steps outlined under “Registration and Validation”.

You can find more details here:

4/ Access the nonprofit hub and license plans

Once approved, log into the Nonprofit Hub to view offers:

    • Free grant licenses (e.g., Business Basic for up to 300 users).
    • Deeply discounted licensed plans, such as Microsoft 365 Business Premium.

You may find further guidance here: Microsoft 365 Nonprofit Solutions | Microsoft Nonprofits

    5/ Purchase and assign licenses

    • Go to Microsoft 365 Admin Center → Choose Marketplace.   User's image
    • View nonprofit-specific offers under grants and discounts.
    • Select applicable license type (e.g., Business Basic, Business Premium), choose quantity, and check out.
    • Once licenses are provisioned, assign them to user accounts through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

Additionally, as other users have raised similar concerns and may not be aware of where to share their feedback, I hope this response helps clarify the situation and suggests a potential next step. Highlighting this information can make it more visible to others in the community who may be facing the same issue, making it easier for them to find guidance and contribute their feedback as well.

Thank you again for your time and for raising this important usability concern. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Sending warm wishes to you and your loved ones for a happy and successful New Year.

I look forward to your thoughts on this.
