Disappointment with Microsoft and Windows 11 in general

I am here to say goodbye to windows and Microsoft. I have been a loyal customer since the late 80's when it was DOS (Disk Operating System). I have stayed loyal through the ups and downs. I even built PC's for hobby/business back in the day. I can no longer sit and be a part of what is happening now. Here are my problems:

  1. I use an operating system for just what that is. Not an advertising platform that is shoving AI and copilot and office 365 subscriptions down my throat every freaking day. Stop it.
  2. My pc is recording screenshots of my desktop? ?or what purpose? I did not ask for this. I would never see a need for it. So, why are you spying on me?
  3. Why did you shut off windows 10 and doom tens of millions of decent computers to our landfills? On the Microsoft website you claim to be a leader in sustainability? I disagree heartily with that claim.

I have 3 PC's that I use for business and gaming. 2 of 3 I have moved away from windows. The third will be in the next week or so. If you read the threads and see the commentary on the various platforms you will see what I am talking about. I would not want to be you these days. Good luck and I truly hope that you can right these wrongs. If so I will be back, 110%. But not before.

Thank you,

[Removed PII]

I am not going to argue with AI. This is done and you have lost a good and caring customer.
