Using Outlook for Android in business environments for email and scheduling
Hi @DK,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A, and thank you for reaching out to us.
Based on your description, to assist you further, could you please provide a screenshot of what you see in Outlook (both in the app and on the web) when you attempt to sign in through private message that I send to you?
Also, may I confirm whether you had any Google account added in Outlook before signing in with your work account?
I tested this on my end using an Android device (Samsung A05). On the Outlook mobile app, the sign-in page only shows an “Add a Google account” button. May I confirm whether you are seeing the same on your end?
If so, please note that you can still enter your business email address and tap Continue. The Add Google account option is provided for convenience only and is not required to sign in to the Outlook application.
You also mentioned that you are unable to access Outlook via a web browser. From my testing, I am able to access it on my Android device without any issues. If you are unable to do so, please reach out to your administrator and ask them to confirm that Outlook on the web is enabled for your account. They can check this by navigating to:
Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Users, select your mailbox > Mail > Manage email apps
Ensure that Outlook on the web is enabled, then save the changes.
Looking forward to your response.
