To install a QWERTY keyboard layout on your Windows system, follow these steps:

    1. Open Settings: Click on the Start menu and select Settings (the gear icon).
    2. Time & Language: Go to Time & Language.
    3. Language: In the left sidebar, click on Language.
    4. Add a Language: If you don't have English (United States) or another QWERTY language installed, click on Add a language and search for English (United States) or the desired QWERTY language.
    5. Select the Language: Click on the language to install it, and make sure to select the appropriate keyboard layout during the installation process.
    6. Change Keyboard Layout: Once installed, you can switch between keyboard layouts by pressing the Windows logo key + Spacebar or selecting from the system tray.

If your keyboard is still not working correctly after changing the layout, ensure that the physical keyboard matches the selected layout. You might also want to check if any other keyboard layouts are interfering with your settings.
