In MSN Games. the Daily Crossword has not been working for over 2 weeks. The puzzle comes up and it shows a hand pointer, but when I move the pointer to a cell to fill in an answer, it does not work.

Yes, Daily Crosswords opens and shows the puzzle but no interaction possible. I have done all the standard recommended steps i.e. clear cache and all that, uninstall and reinstall, so many times now. When I check online nothing pops up indicating there are any problems with the site. In fact, going to the website, the game can be played... just not via the MS app.

Hi Stephen D, Daily Crossword stuck for weeks when you just want to relax and play it feels like something so simple shouldnt be this complicated.

Try clearing your browser cache and disabling ads blockers then enabling cookies and toggling hardware acceleration. If that doesnt help then check if the site is online or you may flush your dns or switch to Google dns.

Are you playing on a desktop browser or in a mobile device or through the MSN app?

It seems like you are experiencing an issue with the Daily Crossword in MSN Games. While the specific context does not provide direct troubleshooting steps for this particular problem, here are some general suggestions that might help:

    1. Refresh the Page: Sometimes, simply refreshing the browser can resolve temporary glitches.
    2. Clear Browser Cache: Clearing your browser's cache can help eliminate any corrupted files that might be causing the issue.
    3. Try a Different Browser: If you are using Microsoft Edge, try accessing the Daily Crossword using a different browser to see if the issue persists.
    4. Check for Updates: Ensure that your browser is up to date, as updates can fix bugs and improve performance.
    5. Disable Extensions: Sometimes, browser extensions can interfere with web applications. Try disabling them temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.
    6. Contact Support: If the problem continues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for more specific assistance regarding MSN Games.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be a problem on the server side that needs to be addressed by Microsoft.
