Can I take the AZ-305 exam without the AZ-104? I am planning for AZ-305 certification. Do i have to pass AZ-104 before I can take AZ-305?

Yes, you can take AZ-305 first, but you will not earn the certification or be able to share the exam pass, and is not advised.
The Azure Administrator Associate certification is required along with the AZ-305 to earn the Azure Solution Architect Expert certification
You do not need to pass the AZ-104 exam before taking the AZ-305 exam.
