For further protection, back up the registry before you modify it.
Hi @Taufiq
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum.
After doing some research, yes, it is possible to change the default location for new PST files in Outlook for Office 365 using a registry edit. Note that if your users are using Microsoft 365/Exchange accounts in cached mode, the large data files are typically OST files rather than PST those require a similar but separate registry key (ForceOSTPath) and involve removing/re-adding the account to apply the change, as OST files are recreated by Outlook.
1.First, close Outlook completely. Press Windows + R and type in regedit.
2.Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook.
3.Right click at Outlook > New > Expandable String Value. Name ForcePSTPath or ForceOSTPath depend on your case.
4.After creating, double click at the key and fill in the value, the value will be the location you want to store your PST/OST file.
Note: Storing PST files on network shares or synced folders (e.g., OneDrive) is not supported and can cause corruption.
5.Then restart Outlook. If the changes do not apply, remove and re-add account.
Please try and let me know if it works for you.
