Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello @Kathy Toynbee,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Currently, Dynamics 365 Sales Professional does not currently provide a built‑in “Merge Opportunity” function unlike accounts, contact, or leads.
For my recommendation, you can try to work around by creating a view with all columns that you can use to compare the two opportunities you are merging and then deactivate one of them. Make sure to re-parent the activities and other records related to the losing opportunity, for that you would probably need to use a Workflow.
Also create a "Merged with" lookup field where an administrator can select an opportunity to "merge with" and launch a workflow that would deactivate the "losing" opportunity and reassign all its records.
If this workaround doesn’t resolve the issue, you can create a support ticket directly to Dynamics 365 by following the instructions: How to create a Product Support Ticket in Dynamics 365 Online?
Note: Please understand that as a forum moderator, my primary goal is to provide helpful guidance and support through general troubleshooting steps. While I don’t have access to internal systems or test devices required to resolve backend/account issues, I truly appreciate your understanding of these limitations.
Thank you for choosing Microsoft, and I am looking forward to your response. If anything is unclear, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
