    Hi @이성호

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on the information you described, I understand that you need to use Microsoft Access, but you cannot find it on your laptop and are unsure how to install or use it.

Please note that the availability of Microsoft Access depends on the type of subscription you have and how Microsoft Office was installed on your device.

To help clarify, Microsoft Access is currently included with the following subscriptions:

    -Microsoft 365 Family or Personal

    -Microsoft 365 Apps for Business

    -Microsoft 365 Business Standard

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/buy/microsoft-365

To assist you further, could you please let me know:

    • Which Microsoft 365 or Office subscription you are using?
    • Where you originally downloaded or installed Office from?

If your subscription includes Access but you have not yet installed the Office desktop apps, you can sign in to your Microsoft account and download Office from the official Microsoft portal. Once the installation is complete, Microsoft Access should appear automatically as part of the Office apps on your laptop.

Please refer the following instructions: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/download-install-or-reinstall-microsoft-365-or-office-2024-on-a-pc-or-mac-4414eaaf-0478-48be-9c42-23adc4716658

If your current Office subscription does not include Microsoft Access, you still have a few options:

-Purchase Microsoft Access as a standalone product: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/p/access/CFQ7TTC0PD0B?activetab=pivot:overviewtab

-Use Microsoft Access Runtime (free, but with limited features such as no design/editing mode): Download and install Microsoft 365 Access Runtime

I hope this information helps. Please feel free to share more details about your subscription, and I’ll be happy to guide you with the correct next steps.

Which Microsoft Office product do you have? A subscription (365) or a perpetual license (such as Office Home & Business)?

If Microsoft Access is included in your Office product, you should be able to start Access from the Windows Start menu.

To use Microsoft Access, you need to ensure that you have the right version of Microsoft 365 or Office that includes Access. Here are the steps to install and use MS Access on your laptop:

    1. Check Your Microsoft 365 Subscription: Ensure you are using a version of Microsoft 365 that includes Access. The consumer versions of Microsoft 365 typically include Access, while some business versions may not.
    2. Install Microsoft Access: If you have the right subscription, you can install Access from the Microsoft 365 portal. Sign in to your Microsoft account, go to the Office apps section, and look for Access to install it.
    3. Windows Compatibility: Note that Access only operates on Windows desktops. If you are using a Mac, you will need a Windows emulator like Parallels along with a Windows installation to run Access.
    4. Access Database Engine: If you encounter issues with connecting to databases, ensure that you have the correct version of the Access Database Engine installed (either 32-bit or 64-bit, depending on your Office installation).
    5. Troubleshooting: If you face any issues while launching Access, such as license errors, you may need to check registry permissions or reinstall the Access Database Engine.

By following these steps, you should be able to install and use Microsoft Access on your laptop.
