Workspace is created but not available as drop down in VMware ESXi

While creating VMware ESXi there is step to create "workspace". we have created a workspace successfully by assigning Region and Resource group...etc

we can see the workspace listed as well.

But while creating VMware ESXi - under workspace nothing is available as dropdown to select already created workspace.

What could be the issue ?

    Thank you for your post!

    From your issue, I understand that you're creating a VMware ESXi solution for Microsoft Sentinel, and through the creation process you deployed a Log Analytics Workspace but aren't able to see it within the dropdown list while deploying your VMware ESXi solution.

    When selecting your workspace instance during the deployment of VMware ESXi, please note that the dropdown will list only workspace(s) that exist in the Resource Group selected, because of this please ensure you have the correct Resource Group listed above prior to selecting your workspace.

    For the workspace to show, it needs to be type category 'Log analytics workspace' not simply a workspace.
