A video editing tool developed by Microsoft, designed to make video creation easy and accessible for everyone.
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
Sorry for this frustrating situation that you're having. Here are some suggestions you can try:
Update Clipchamp, then fully restart your PC, because if this is a bad build, the next patch plus a clean restart is often what brings the effects back.
If you’re using the browser editor, try Edge or Chrome and clear the browser cache, because a corrupted cache can make the editor preview ignore effects even when the settings look correct.
If you’re using the Windows app, do a Repair or Reset (or reinstall), because broken app data can cause effects panels to “apply” but not actually render during playback.
Quick workaround for the deadline: swap the problem titles (countdown/bouncing) to Plain text and reapply your fade, because plain text is the most reliable path for fading effects when some animated templates glitch.
If the preview is stuttering, export a tiny 5 to 10 second test around the bad section first, because some users see preview lag after updates and the export result is the real truth.
Hope this helps. Feel free to get back if you need further assistance.
