In addition, I would like to add a brief clarification and some practical guidance based on my testing. The calendar items are successfully archived and not deleted. However, the Calendar folder is not displayed in the standard In‑Place Archive view in Outlook.
To clarify this further, archived calendar items continue to exist in the archive mailbox and remain available for compliance, audit, and eDiscovery purposes. The data is not lost, it is simply not shown in the default archive folder structure.
