    Hi KL Manzi

From your description, I understand that you’re trying to create a new Outlook.com/Microsoft account, but you're getting stuck at the "Let’s prove you’re human" step and it repeatedly tells you to try again.

I can see there’s already a Q&A Assist reply below your post. To avoid repeating it, have you already tried those suggestions)? If yes, please share what happens on the verification step.

    Meanwhile, please try the following:

    1. Try a different browser specifically

Switching to another web browser may bypass any compatibility issues with the current one. For example, moving from Firefox/Safari/Edge to Chrome.

    2. Check Internet connection or try a different network

    • Ensure that your internet connection is stable and not causing interruptions during the verification process.
    • If possible, switch to a different internet connection (like a mobile hotspot) to rule out network-related issues.

    3. Temporarily disable anything that interferes with verification pages

    • If you have ad‑blockers, privacy extensions, or strict tracking protection enabled, try disabling them just for the sign‑up attempt (or use a clean browser profile).
    • Clearing your browser's cache and cookies can help eliminate any stored data that might be causing issues.

    4. Try creating account via mobile app

    • Download Microsoft Outlook app on your phone
    • Try creating account through the app instead of browser
    • Sometimes this verification works better on a phone/tablet than on a PC browser

I truly hope this helps. Thanks for your understanding and please feel free to reach back if you need further assistance.

The “Let’s prove you’re human” step is the CAPTCHA and verification stage of creating a Microsoft account. When it keeps looping, the usual workarounds are:

    1. Use a different browser or InPrivate/Incognito window
    • Open a private browsing session (InPrivate/Incognito) and go to the Microsoft sign-up page: https://signup.live.com.
    • Try the sign-up again there; this avoids cached data and some extensions that can interfere with the CAPTCHA.
    1. Try a different device or network
    • If on a PC, try a phone or tablet, or vice versa.
    • Switch from Wi‑Fi to mobile data (or another Wi‑Fi network). Some networks or IP ranges can trigger extra checks or temporary blocks.
    1. Use an alternate sign-up method
    • When creating the account, try using an email address instead of a phone number, or vice versa, if that option is shown.
    • If a new email address is needed, first go to Outlook.com and select Create free account to get a new Outlook.com address, then complete the Microsoft account setup.
    1. Wait and avoid repeated attempts
    • Too many repeated attempts can trigger temporary protection blocks. If it keeps failing, stop trying for a while (up to a day) before retrying.
    1. Make sure the email address is not reused
    • If the email address was ever used before as a Microsoft account (even if closed), it cannot be reused. Use a different email address if that might be the case.

Once past the CAPTCHA, complete the remaining steps (name, region, birthdate, email verification) as prompted.
