How to get my old MCSE and MCP certifications that i did in 1999?

Legacy MCP/MCSE certifications from that time may no longer appear automatically in the Microsoft Learn profile, but there are still options to try to recover them.

Follow these steps:

1. Check for multiple profiles
   • Sign in to Microsoft Learn and verify that the correct account is being used.
   • If there might have been different email addresses or accounts used over the years, try signing in with each of them and check the Credentials area:
     • https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/credentials/?tab=credentials-tab
2. Be aware of legacy certification aging
   • Some older exams and certifications have “aged out” of the Certification Program and may no longer be visible in the Learn profile.
   • This is expected behavior for some legacy credentials.
3. Contact Microsoft Credentials Support
   • For help recovering very old MCP/MCSE records (such as from 1999) or linking an old MCP ID to a current profile, open a ticket with the dedicated credentials support team:
     • https://aka.ms/credentialssupport
   • Provide as much information as possible (full name at the time, approximate exam dates, old MCP ID if known, and any old email addresses) so support can attempt to locate and associate the historical records.

If the certifications are among those that have fully aged out, support can confirm what is still available and what can be shown or verified.
