Until recently, when I copied the AI‑generated meeting summary from Microsoft Teams (the Recap / AI Notes pane), the embedded images (diagrams, slide thumbnails, visual highlights) were correctly pasted into a Loop Notes page. Now, when performing the same action, the text is copied but the images are missing.

This is a regression — it used to work for the exact same meetings and same workflow.

Repro steps:

Open a Teams meeting recap with AI Summary enabled.
Select the entire AI‑generated notes (including images).
Paste into the Loop “Notes” tab inside a Workspace or meeting page.
Only text appears; images are silently dropped.

Expected result: All images included in the Teams AI Summary should be pasted into the Loop Notes page, as before.

Actual result: Images are not transferred. Only text is pasted.

Based on your description, this does not appear to be related to a missing permission or tenant setting. Since the behavior previously worked and is now consistently dropping only the images while the text still pastes, this looks more like a service-side behavior change or regression between Teams Recap/ AI Summary and Loop Notes.

Hello, Thank you for your answer. I found another ticket from a person that was experiencing the opposite issue: he/she didn't want to copy the images, only the text. Same thing happened to me. I found the screenshots augmented the meeting notes. I hope there could be a toggle for the "best of both worlds", something like: "generate text only" or "generate with images". Thank you for finding and posting this Daniel!

since there is no official documentation confirming that this was changed by policy or design, it would still be difficult to verify from the outside.

At this point, I would still recommend raising a Microsoft 365 support ticket so the support team can confirm whether this is:

an intentional product change

a service regression

or a known issue affecting the Teams/Loop experience

Same problem here the graphic used to be copied then it stopped just last week. Now only the text is copied.
