    Hi, Doug Ransom

Microsoft’s current OneDrive support pages list Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and web browser access, but they do not list a Linux desktop app, so on Linux Mint you usually end up relying on the web version or a third-party client. The “wrong page” message matches a known redirect problem that can happen during Microsoft sign-in, especially in the browser-based auth flow.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

It is recommended that you use the abraunegg OneDrive client on Mint, then during sign-in copy the full redirect URL from the browser and paste it back into the app right away, even if the page later jumps to /common/wrongplace.

You can do the login in a private/incognito window or a different browser, and temporarily disable privacy/security extensions.

If it still fails, try the sign-in on another network and turn off VPN/proxy for that step.

If browser auth keeps failing, rclone is a good fallback because it supports a manual/no-browser auth path, and its local callback may need to be allowed through the firewall.

Thank you for your patience in reading, I hope this information has been helpful to you.
