I am unable to log into my Outlook email account. Every time I try to open it, it says "you signed out of your account" and won't allow me to sign in. I'm stuck at this page every time I open it on my laptop. I have tried troubleshooting numerous times. This is getting ridiculous and needs to be fixed.

    Hi Perlman, Rachel

Thanks for posting. I understand how frustrating it is to be repeatedly signed out and stuck on the same sign‑in page, especially after you’ve already tried general troubleshooting.

    Please try the following steps:

1, Sign in from a private browser window

This helps determine whether the issue is caused by cached sign‑in data:

    • Open a private window
    • Go directly to Outlook on the web and sign in
    • If this works, the account itself is OK and the issue is local to your browser profile.

    2, Clear only Microsoft/Outlook cookies

    If private sign‑in works:

    • In your normal browser, go to “Settings” > “Privacy and security” > “Cookies and other site data” > “See all cookies and site data”
    • Remove cookies related to “microsoft”, “live”, and “outlook”
    • Close all browser windows, reopen the browser, and try signing in again This approach is commonly effective for Outlook.com sign‑in loops.

3, Force sign‑out of all active sessions

Stuck or expired sessions can continuously sign you out.

For reference: How to sign out of your Microsoft account everywhere

    4, If you’re still redirected, use Microsoft’s Sign‑in Helper

This checks for account‑level sign‑in blocks or verification issues: Microsoft account sign-in helper

Please feel free to let me know how it goes after trying these steps. I truly appreciate your time and understanding.
