    Hi Aquilur Rahman,

Good day and thank you for offering a clear description of your issue.

This behavior is usually related to Android privacy and notification display settings, not a hardware fault.

When a notification appears on your lock screen and then vanishes after unlocking, Android is typically doing this intentionally for several reasons. Your phone may be in Do Not Disturb mode, or certain apps may be configured to automatically clear notifications once the device is unlocked. Sometimes Android removes notifications after unlocking to reduce clutter, assuming they’ve already been seen. Notifications may also disappear if they’re dismissed unintentionally. Some apps are designed to automatically clear their notification once the device is unlocked or once the app syncs in the background.

First of all, to ensure notifications remain visible on your lock screen, you may need to adjust your notification settings on the Android device.

Open Settings > Notifications settings. From there, review how notifications are displayed and select the option to show all notification content rather than hiding sensitive information or suppressing notifications entirely.

Please note that some applications manage notification behavior independently. In such cases, you may also need to review the notification settings within each specific app to confirm that lock‑screen notifications are enabled.

Android may be set to hide notification content on the lock screen. In this case, once the phone is unlocked, the system assumes you’ve “seen” it and removes it from the visible preview

For Samsung's users, if you see a small blue folder icon next to the notification, please open Secure Folder by

    • Go to Settings > Security & Privacy > More Security Settings> Secure Folder> Notifications User's image
    • Enable Show content, or disable notifications for that app entirely

If you want to check your past notification, you can navigate to Settings > Notifications > Advanced Settings > Notification History.

You can review your notification history there, as it may include the notification that was previously dismissed.

On Android 15 and later, a new security feature called Sensitive Notifications can cause this behavior.

When a notification contains sensitive content such as two-factor authentication codes, one-time passcodes, or similar data, Android may automatically hide the content. In some cases, the notification is replaced with a message like “Sensitive notification content hidden,” and such notifications cannot be displayed or persisted in connected apps like Phone Link or may appear to vanish when the device is unlocked.

    Key points:

    • Android 15 uses an algorithm to identify and hide sensitive notifications.
    • Notifications with 2FA codes, OTPs, and other sensitive information are affected.
    • These notifications may not show fully, may appear as “content hidden,” or may seem to disappear when the phone is unlocked.
    • To view the full content, it is necessary to open the relevant app (for example, Outlook) directly on the phone rather than relying on the notification preview.

If the notifications in question are security codes or other sensitive Outlook messages, this is expected behavior due to Android’s Sensitive Notifications feature and cannot be changed from Outlook. The only reliable workaround is to open Outlook on the device to read those items directly.
