    Hi pizza ghost

I’m sorry to hear you’re running into this. Error 0x80048820 is a common Microsoft sign‑in issue and is usually caused by local authentication data or time/network sync problems, not lost purchases.

    Here's what you can try:

    1)Check system time

    • Settings → Time & Language → Date & time
    • Turn on Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically, then click Sync now.

    2)Reset Microsoft Store cache

    • Press Win + R, type wsreset.exe, press Enter.
    • Let it finish, then try signing in again.

    3)Clear cached Microsoft/Xbox credentials

    • Open Credential Manager → Windows Credentials
    • Remove entries related to MicrosoftAccount, WindowsLive, Xbox/Xbl
    • Restart the PC and sign in again.

4)Disable VPN or third‑party antivirus temporarily

5)Test your account in a browser

    • Sign in at account.microsoft.com
    • If it works there, the issue is local to the PC and not your account or purchases.

Your Minecraft license is tied to your Microsoft account, not the device, once sign‑in is fixed, it will reappear.

Hope this helps. Feel free to update here if anything comes up!

    @Alex-L

ive done all of that, when i do the "wsreset" command it only pops up for a second before going away. I have no VPN or third party anti virus. I can sign into my account in my browser just fine, as well as other accounts on this computer through the apps. I do not have any Xbox or windows credentials in my credentials manager. The only thing i suspect could possibly be at fault is that it seems my clock is just a few miliseconds off? Though ive click set time and time zone automatically so i dont understand how that could be it.

Ive done nothing to my microsoft account before this happened, i played halo master chief collection just a week or so before. Nothing had changed since then, and yet suddenly my account is just...completely locked. I appreciate your help thus far but please, what else could this be?
