I recently attempted to take a Microsoft certification exam, but during the check-in process, my attempt was blocked due to a name mismatch.
My exam registration shows my name as “Karthikeyan S”, while in my government ID (PASSPORT) my full name as “Karthikeyan Subramanian”. This appears to have caused a verification issue.
I was instructed to update my name and reschedule the exam.
I would like guidance on the following:
- How can I ensure that both my Microsoft profile and exam registration are aligned correctly?
- Do I need to contact Pearson VUE support to update the exam registration name, or will updating my Microsoft profile be sufficient?
My goal is to make sure my name matches exactly with my government ID to avoid any issues during the next attempt.
