Hi Team,

For certification exam the name I gave was my name with (initial) which was my father name first letter, In my passport my name was without initial and my father name mentioned as in father name.
Is it will approve by verification team, or it will consider mismatch, during certification exam name verification

Your full name must match exactly otherwise you will not be allowed to sit the exam.

Update your Legal name on your Microsoft Learn profile under Settings https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/settings

If you have an exam booked, you will be shown a message and link to contact Credentials support https://learn.microsoft.com/credentials/support/help#how-to-submit-a-support-request

The name on the ID used for the exam must exactly match the name on the Microsoft Certification profile and the exam registration. Any difference (including added initials that are not on the ID) can be treated as a mismatch by the proctor and may prevent taking the exam.

To avoid issues, update the legal name in the Microsoft Learn / Certification profile so that it matches the passport exactly (no extra initials, spacing, or additional characters) before scheduling or attempting the exam. Then use that same ID (passport) at check-in.

If the name is already wrong on an existing registration or if the profile name cannot be corrected, contact Microsoft Credentials Support to get it fixed before the next exam attempt.
