    Hello

Is it possible you try to print from a different device, such as your phone? It is important to narrow down to see if the printer behavior is only from this computer, or it doesn't matter, so we can see if we are troubleshooting the specific connection between this computer and printer or the printer itself.

If the issue is indeed unique to this computer only, remove the printer from Settings, and go here: https://support.hp.com/my-en/drivers/swdetails/hp-deskjet-2800e-all-in-one-printer-series/2101233229/swItemId/mp-309230-19

Download and install this printer driver specifically for your printer model. Then add the printer back, see if the issue is corrected.

Note: This is not Microsoft website/URL, but it is the official OEM/manufacturer site.

Follow these steps on the Windows 11 Envy laptop to reconnect the HP DeskJet 2800e wireless printer and stop the repeated setup pages.

    1. Remove the existing printer entry
      1. Select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
      2. Select the HP DeskJet 2800e (or any HP DeskJet 2800e entry).
      3. Select Remove and confirm with Yes.
    2. Make sure the printer is on the same Wi‑Fi as the laptop
      1. Turn the printer on and let it fully start.
      2. Ensure the home Wi‑Fi router is on and that the Envy laptop is connected to that Wi‑Fi.
      3. If the printer is still in Wi‑Fi setup mode (it keeps printing Wi‑Fi quick start guides), follow the instructions on that page or on the printer’s control panel to connect it to the home Wi‑Fi again. If needed, use HP’s setup app from HP’s site to join it to Wi‑Fi.
    3. Add the printer back in Windows
      1. On the Envy laptop, go again to Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
      2. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to Wi‑Fi.
      3. Select Add device.
      4. Wait while Windows searches for printers. When the HP DeskJet 2800e appears, select Add device next to it.
      5. If it does not appear, select Add manually (or The printer that I want isn’t listed), then follow the on‑screen steps to add a network or wireless printer.
    4. Confirm printing works
      1. In Printers & scanners, select the HP DeskJet 2800e.
      2. Select Print a test page to verify it prints correctly.

If Windows cannot install the printer automatically, use Add manually and follow the wizard to find a network printer, then install the driver. If problems continue, download and install the latest HP driver/software for the DeskJet 2800e from HP’s support site, then repeat the add‑printer steps.
