For a missing audio console and no control over inputs/outputs in Windows 11, the issue is typically with the audio driver or its companion app.

    Use these steps in order:

    1. Update or reinstall the audio driver via Device Manager
      1. Select Start, type Device Manager, and open it.
      2. Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
      3. Right-click the MSI/Realtek (or similar) audio device and select Update driver.
      4. Select Search automatically for drivers and follow the on‑screen instructions.
      5. Restart the PC.
    2. If updating does not restore control, reinstall the driver
      1. In Device Manager, under Sound, video and game controllers, right‑click the audio device and select Uninstall device.
      2. Confirm the uninstall.
      3. Restart the PC so Windows can automatically reinstall the audio driver.
    3. Install the latest audio package from the manufacturer
      1. Go to the MSI support page for the MS‑7C90 motherboard.
      2. Download the latest Windows 11 audio driver package (often Realtek) and install it.
      3. Restart the PC.
      4. If the audio console (e.g., Realtek Audio Console or a vendor‑specific app) is part of that package, it should reinstall and restore control over inputs/outputs.
    4. If audio still does not work correctly
      1. Run the built‑in audio troubleshooter from Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Playing Audio and apply any fixes it suggests.
      2. If the problem started after a Windows update and audio previously worked, roll back the audio driver:
        • Open Device Manager → right‑click the audio device → PropertiesDriver tab → Roll Back Driver (if available) and follow the prompts.
      3. If rolling back is not available or does not help, use a system restore point created before the issue appeared, as described under "Restore from a system restore point" in the Windows recovery options article.

If the motherboard requires a companion audio console app (similar to MaxxAudio or Realtek Audio Console on some OEM systems), ensure that app is installed from MSI’s support/software page for the board after the driver is in place.

Are you able to download and install the Realtek Audio Control from the Microsoft Store on this link.
