    Good day @Terry Spall

In general, if you still have access to the meeting chat after the meeting has ended, you can share files there the same way you would during the meeting: Go to Chat, open the meeting chat from your recent chats list, then in the compose box at the bottom, click the + icon (Actions and apps), choose Attach file, and upload the file either from your device or from OneDrive.

You can also take a look at Microsoft’s guidance here for additional context: Share files in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support

That said, to make sure this guidance really fits your situation and to help pinpoint where things might be getting stuck, could you share a bit more detail with me:

    • Are you still able to open the meeting chat and type a message now that the meeting has finished?
    • About how large is the file you’re trying to share?
    • Do you see the Attach file option in the chat? And when you attempt to upload the file, do you run into any error messages or does the upload seem to stall partway through?

If you have any updates or additional questions, please feel free to leave a comment under this post so I can continue to support you.

Thank you again for taking time.

In a Microsoft Teams meeting chat, files can still be shared after the meeting has finished by posting them into the same chat thread.

Use one of these methods in the meeting chat:

    1. Drag and drop the file into the message box of the meeting chat, then select Send.
    2. Select Attach (paperclip icon) beneath the message box, choose the file source (for example, Upload from this device or a cloud location), then select Send.
3. If the file is very large and standard upload limits or policies block it, upload it first to a SharePoint/OneDrive location and then share the link in the meeting chat. If sharing is restricted (for example, in large or mixed-internal/external chats), adjust the link’s sharing settings to Anyone or People in your organization, or contact the admin to enable the appropriate sharing options.

For one-on-one or small group chats, the file will also appear under the Shared/Files tab of that chat after upload.

If the meeting chat is large and file sharing is blocked, change the link’s sharing setting as follows:

    1. Select the file’s current sharing setting (for example, People currently in this chat with the link can edit).
    2. In Sharing settings, choose:
      • Anyone if there are external participants, or
      • People in your organization if everyone is internal.
    3. If these options are disabled, an admin must enable the corresponding sharing settings in the SharePoint admin center.
