The 'Copy Plan' feature is not activated, eventhough I have paid for 'Planner and Project Plan 3' subscription:

Based on my testing, I would like to share some observations regarding the behavior you are experiencing.
When creating a Basic plan that is not added to a group, the option “Copy Plan” does not appear or does not work as expected.
However, when a Basic plan is added to a group, the “Copy Plan” option becomes available and works as expected.
In addition, according to the official Microsoft documentation: “If you aren't able to create groups in Planner, you might not be able to copy plans.”

Based on this, the group association is required for the “Copy Plan” functionality to be available.
Additionally, if you are using a Premium plan, you should not need to "add to a group" in order to copy a plan.
If possible, could you please try again and let me know exactly which plan you are seeing this issue with? That will help me get a clearer picture of the situation.
You might also try creating or using a plan that is associated with a group, and check whether the “Copy Plan” option works in that scenario.
If the issue still persists after trying this, please feel free to share any additional details or screenshots. This will help me investigate further and support you more effectively.

Hi @Demi-N thanks for providing the details. Could you please explain how a group could be added in an already created Basic Plan?
Additionally, I was able to create a subtasks before, now these features seems to have gone from the same plan that have been working for past few months. Eventhough I have taken 'Planner and Project Plan 3' subscription it is showing 'basic-access'. I am sure it use to allow me to 'Copy plan' the same plan in the past, and now it has changed for the existing project-plans.

For adding a group to an already created Basic plan, you can do this directly within the plan. Please click on the “View and add members” icon (as shown in the screenshot). From there, you will have the option to either create a new group or add the plan to an existing group by selecting “Create group” or “Add to existing group.” This will allow you to associate the current plan with a group without needing to recreate it.
Additionally, regarding the “subtasks” you mentioned, could you please help clarify what you are referring to? For example, where do you usually see or create these subtasks in the UI, and what behavior has changed compared to before? I would like to make sure I fully understand your scenario so I can provide the most accurate guidance.

Even after adding the plan to a group, it does not enable the 'Copy plan' option.
Regarding sub-task, please see the screenshot where this option is disabled, it was available for me so far as I have taken the project plan 3 subscription:
