Download the installer from the internet here by clicking on the black button.

That will download the installer to your Downloads folder (or wherever you chose as the destination for downloads.)

    Hi, good day!

Please let me know if you have tried the methods below.

    • If you have a third-party VPN or Antivirus installed, please try to temporarily uninstall it then check if the issue persists.
    • Please try signing out your Microsoft Account from the Microsoft Store then sign-in again

After that, download and install the WhatsApp installer in the link below.

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed by clicking "Add comment" below instead of Yes or No button.

Use these steps to troubleshoot not being able to install WhatsApp from Microsoft Store on Windows 11:

    1. Reset the Microsoft Store cache
      1. Press Windows key + R.
      2. Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
      3. A blank Command Prompt opens, closes after a few seconds, and Microsoft Store reopens automatically.
      4. Try installing WhatsApp again.
    2. Check common reasons an app cannot be installed If the error persists, one of these may apply:
      • Region: WhatsApp might not be available in the current country/region.
      • Family settings: If using a family account, parental controls may block the app.
      • App removed: The app might be temporarily unavailable or removed from Store.
      • Device compatibility: The current PC might not meet the app’s requirements; Store will hide or block the install button in that case.
      • Pending restart: If Windows was recently updated, restart the PC, then try again.
      • Device not authorized: Ensure signed in with a Microsoft account and the device is added to that account.
    3. Run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter (Windows 11/10)
      1. Open Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
      2. Select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.
      3. Apply any fixes it suggests, then retry the install.
    4. Verify Microsoft Store itself is working
      • Confirm other apps can be downloaded/updated.
      • If Microsoft Store won’t open or behaves incorrectly, reset/repair it:
        • Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft Store > Advanced options and choose Repair or Reset (this does not remove installed apps).
    5. Check for system or policy blocks
      • If a message appears that Microsoft Store is disabled by an administrator or policy, contact the device administrator to re-enable it.
      • If downloads never start or stay at 0%, check any third‑party antivirus or VPN; temporarily disable/uninstall them and test again.
    6. Alternative install via winget (if Store UI is problematic)
      • Open a non‑elevated PowerShell or Command Prompt.
      • Search for WhatsApp:
             winget search WhatsApp

      • Install it (using the exact ID or name from the search result):
winget install <App name or Id>

If none of these steps work and other Store apps also fail to install, the Windows installation may be corrupted and might require more advanced repair (such as an in‑place upgrade) based on broader system troubleshooting.
