Hi mat
If you’re still getting “Invalid Gaming Services Detected” after the usual repair/reinstall steps, it means Gaming Services is stuck on an older build. For Forza Horizon 6, the required version is 36.113.2002.0 or higher, while yours is stuck on 36.113.14003.0.
You can try the following to get the latest version:
- Uninstall Gaming Services for all users (PowerShell Admin):
Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.GamingServices -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage -AllUsers - Reset Microsoft Store cache:
- Press
Win + R→ type:wsreset.exe
- Press
- Reinstall Gaming Services from the official Store listing:
- Install from: Gaming Services (Microsoft Store)
- Update via Store Library:
- Microsoft Store → Library → Get updates → update Gaming Services until it no longer offers an update.
- Confirm the version in Settings:
- Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Gaming Services → Advanced options → verify it’s ≥ 36.113.2002.0.
