I would like to have two calendars through my single login MS 365 account.

Is it possible to create a second calendar with my domain address without having to buy a second user license? I don't need a separate login. If this can be done, how do I do it?

Hi @Anonymous W

I hope you are doing well today.

Based on the information you shared that you would like to create a second calendar within your existing Microsoft 365 account using your domain address, without the need to purchase an additional user license.

The great news is that Microsoft 365 fully supports this through a built-in feature in Outlook, which allows you to create and manage multiple calendars all under a single login. Since these additional calendars are created within the same account, they will automatically use your existing domain address, so there is absolutely no need for a separate login or an additional license.

To get this set up on your Mac, please kindly follow the steps below.

1/ Create your second calendar

  • Open Outlook on your Mac, then click the Calendar icon at the bottom of the left navigation panel to switch to Calendar view.
  • In the left sidebar, locate "My Calendars," then click on the Organize tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen. Click New Calendar from the ribbon options.
  • When prompted, select your Microsoft 365 account as the destination folder to ensure the new calendar syncs with your Exchange server.
  • Reference: Create additional calendars in Outlook for Mac - Microsoft Support

2/ Personalize your new calendar

  • Once the new calendar appears in the left sidebar under "My Calendars," right-click on its name.
  • Select a color of your choice from the available options.
  • Assigning a distinct color to each calendar makes it easy to visually tell them apart at a glance, which helps you stay organized without any confusion.
  • Reference: Add or remove a calendar in Outlook for Mac - Microsoft Support

3/ Start using your two calendars

  • You can now switch between your two calendars at any time by selecting or deselecting the checkboxes next to each calendar name in the left sidebar. View multiple calendars in Outlook for Mac - Microsoft Support
  • Since both calendars are under the same Microsoft 365 account, all events and invitations will continue to go out using your domain address.
  • Please note that only events on your primary calendar will reflect your availability in the Scheduling Assistant when others check your schedule. If you would like meeting availability to show correctly, we recommend adding important appointments to your primary calendar.
  • To access and manage your calendars from a browser, simply visit outlook.office.com, where the same options are available.

I hope the information I shared earlier was somewhat helpful in addressing your issue. If you have any further questions or updates, please don’t hesitate to share. I’m always happy to assist further if needed.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding. I look forward to continuing the conversation.

Yes, multiple calendars can be created under a single Microsoft 365 account without purchasing another user license, and they can all use the same mailbox/login.

In Outlook, additional calendars are just extra calendar folders in the same mailbox. They do not require separate accounts or licenses.

To create a second calendar (same account, same domain):

    New Outlook for Windows

    1. Go to Calendar and select the Home tab.
    2. Below the calendar grid, select Add calendar.
    3. Select Create blank calendar.
    4. Enter a name for the new calendar.
    5. Under Add to, choose the category (where it should appear), then select Save.

    Classic Outlook (desktop)

    1. Go to the Calendar view.
    2. In the folder list on the left, right‑click My Calendars.
    3. Select Add Calendar.
    4. Give the calendar a name and choose its location.
    5. Select OK; the new calendar appears alongside the existing one.

Outlook on the web / Outlook.com

    1. Open Calendar.
    2. In the navigation pane, under Your calendars or My calendars, use the context menu (right‑click or the + icon) to create a new calendar.
    3. Name the calendar and save.

These calendars can be viewed side‑by‑side or overlaid, and all remain associated with the same user mailbox and login.
