    Hi Anousha Bangaroo,

If the issue persists after running the troubleshooting steps above, you may also try a few additional checks to help isolate the cause.

First, please verify whether Copilot works in a web browser by accessing it via copilot.microsoft.com. This helps determine if the issue is limited to the app or affects the service more broadly.

Next, try connecting your device to a different network, such as a mobile hotspot. If Copilot works on another network, this may indicate a restriction from VPN, proxy or firewall settings on your current connection.

You may also sign out of your account and reconnect it, then restart your device to refresh authentication and clear any token-related issues.

Finally, if the issue appears to be app-specific, you can uninstall the Copilot app from Settings > Apps > Installed apps, restart your device and reinstall it from the Microsoft Store.

If the issue continues after these steps, please let me know the results so I can assist you further.

The error indicates that the Copilot app cannot connect to the Copilot service, which is typically a connectivity or configuration issue rather than a problem with the app itself.

    Try these steps in order:

    1. Check basic connectivity
      • Confirm the device is connected to the internet and other websites or Microsoft 365 services (such as Outlook on the web or copilot.com) work.
    2. Run the Copilot connectivity troubleshooter
      • Open the Get Help app on Windows.
      • In the Search box, type Copilot connectivity troubleshooter.
      • Select it and follow the guided steps. This checks for firewall rules or other blockers that might prevent the Copilot app from reaching the service.
      • Review the results and apply any suggested fixes.
    3. If Copilot still cannot be reached
      • Run the Copilot license troubleshooter from Get Help to ensure the account and license are valid and not causing connection issues.
      • If issues persist after both troubleshooters, use Get Help to contact Microsoft support directly from the same app and share the troubleshooter results.

These troubleshooters are designed specifically to diagnose and fix common Copilot connectivity and licensing issues on Windows devices.
